Derek purchased the Plaza in the year 2000 and is a ‘hands on’ owner. Family, friends and contractors are always at his side to get the job done. 3Eleven has supported many local families with businesses and homes.

Derek is a trailblazer and entrepreneur in cannabis retail. He got his start in mountain biking retail, owning multiple shops. An active community member Derek was elected to Port McNeill town council. He has also served terms on the various boards and organizations in the North Island.
